sometimes i forget how wonderful it is when a book brings you happiness in the form of joy, not pain. don’t get your hopes up though, of course I cried while reading this, BUT THAT IS NOT THE POINT.

i feel like adrienne tooley just looked at a list of things birdie wants to see in a book and said “yes, let’s do all of the above.” this book hit me in all the good ways and despite being one of my most anticipated releases of 2021, it completely lived up to my enormously high expectations.
